Nº 18.24 Madrid, 5 de abril de 2024 REVISIÓN ACUERDO COMERCIO Y COOPERACIÓN UE Y UK Como sabrá, se acerca una revisión del Acuerdo de Comercio y Cooperación entre la Unión Europea y el Reino Unido . Ésta tiene como objetivo ayudar a las autoridades a identificar los desafíos actuales en la implementación del acuerdo y en la relación comercial entre la UE y el UK , así como las áreas de mejora. Para preparar esta evaluación, la CEOE quiere recopilar información sobre la naturaleza de los problemas que han enfrentado los operadores económicos durante los primeros 3 años desde la entrada en vigor del Acuerdo de Comercio y Cooperación. Por ende, en esta Nota Informativa encontrará adjunto un breve cuestionario que animamos a que complete si es de su interés. For Europe, the UK is the third-biggest tr ading partner (almost 10%), after the United States and China. The stock of mutual investment s remains among the highest in the world. Formally signed on 30 December 2020 , the EU- UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement entered into force on 1 May 2021 . It includ es an ambitious Free Trade Agreement governing the UK’s post -Brexit economic relationship with the EU, with extensive cooperation on economic, social, environmental and fisheries issues. This questionnaire aims at gathering information on the challenges faced by firms during this first 3- year period and to assess persisting issues and challenges, in view of discussing potential areas for improvemen t.
